The FUE treatment is probably the best development in the hair transplant field in recent years. Due to its technique, it is currently the most efficient and most pleasant method of restoring all the hair on the head. Extraction of Hair Follicles in FUE Hair Transplantation
At the beginning of the treatment, hair follicles are removed from the neck area. Local anesthesia is used to ensure a comfortable procedure. The modern equipment of our practice is beneficial. With the latest devices, extremely precise and clean work is possible. The hair follicles are loosened with a particularly narrow device equipped with a micromotor. Then the detached grafts are removed. This process varies depending on the number of grafts to be removed, but usually takes about 2 hours.
Opening The Channels For Planting The Grafts
After the hair follicles are taken, they are sorted and properly placed on a pad, ready for planting. After this procedure, lie on your back. In order to open the channels in FUE hair transplantation, the affected area is also locally anesthetized. Then the channel opening process is started. This is done with another modern device, the so-called micro-pen. These channels are finer than the tip of a needle and the hair follicles to be transplanted are planted in these channels. It is very important that the directions, depth and width of the channels are in harmony with the hair follicles. Our specialists ensure all of this.
Inserting The Hair Follicles in FUE Hair Transplantation
The final stage of FUE hair transplantation is that the hair follicles are transplanted into the opened channels. The hair follicles are planted one after the other in the opened channels. This process also takes different amounts of time depending on the requirement, but usually around two hours. After the process is completed, the area where the FUE hair transplant will be performed will not be covered or bandaged. It is left open to ensure air contact.
Follow-Up Treatment in FUE Hair Transplantation
The area where the hair is planted should be protected from all kinds of pressure and impact. The first dressing change takes place a few days after hair transplantation with FUE hair transplantation method. With this method, no cut and no seam is performed. However, during the extraction of hair follicles, tiny wounds appear on the skin in the form of small dots. These heal completely and without residue in about a week.
